Hey there! I'm Jamie and I am the woman behind the camera at EcoAngle!
If you like hiking, surfing, summer, the ocean, The Amazing Race, or cinnamon buns, then I have a feel we'll get along well!
I love taking pictures plain and simple. For me preserving a memory in time, whether that is a graduation day, engagement, perfect off the lip snap, home run hit, small town festival, or simply a magnificent sunset, is invaluable.
I have a BA in history and professional communications and am currently working towards an MA in communications and digital media management.
I come from an event planning background, so I am always prepared to handle a shoot no matter what gets thrown at me! For me, it’s all about raw emotions, having fun, and capturing the moments you will treasure for a lifetime!
WHY I LOVE WHAT I DO
I love the process of story-telling through a visual medium. I love art and I love communicating. Photography gives me the ability to combine those two passions. I am so excited about every opportunity to help tell your story! I also adore the process of capturing these moments. My style is candid and authentic, and I pride myself on my ability to help you capture your big moments regardless of the location, weather, or chaos that might ensue on your big day!
I think that half of the fun of this job is rolling with the punches and ensuring that YOU, the client, have a great time! My job isn't just to capture amazing images of you and tell your story, its also to ensure that you enjoy the process. I pride myself as much on this aspect of the job as I do the technical shooting process because authenticity shows up in your images! My motto is regardless of the situation, happy people take great photos!
